Discussion evening on the effects of climate change on the Karamojong pastoralists (Uganda)

INFOE e.V. and the Allerweltshaus cordially invite you to a discussion evening on the effects of climate change on the Karamojong Pastoralists, especially on the Karamojong women.

The focus will be on why and how these women maintain their cultural practices and lifestyles despite climate change, while other people are forced to leave their homes and flee to countries such as Germany.

In dialog with Esther Atem Odong, Karamojong representative from Northeast Uganda, who will join us online, people involved in the ClimateNarratives project, other guests and the audience, we will talk about experiences with the challenges of climate change in Uganda and Germany, how people have built their resilience to deal with them and why sometimes there is no other way out than to flee.
