Stuttgart-based rapper Yoshi Nardo tells of growing up and the struggle with oneself in rousing flows. Influenced musically and in terms of content by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Little Simz and OG Keemo, he combines lyrical complexity with catchy hooks to create modern conscious rap.

He embodies a new, reflective way of being a man by honestly dealing with his feelings and expressing them in an unembellished way. He also deals with his generation's fears for the future and denounces the political conditions responsible for them, without resorting to hackneyed clichés. Subtle inward and outward observations as well as a variety of references and quotations give his lyrics the character of a hidden object picture in which there is much to discover.

His live band schlecht. combines warm samples with crisp drums, bringing their very own sound language to the process. Whether in a loose boom-bap fit or modern trap guise, there is always plenty of patina and noise mixed in with the homemade instrumentals.

With their luggage full of poetic lyrics and atmospheric beats, the three friends set off on their journey from the basement to the clubs.
