Brazilian producer Marcal is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary techno. Combining tribal rhythms and psychedelic atmospheres with futuristic sound design, he creates a sound that is deeply rooted in his Brazilian heritage while sounding forward-thinking. His sets are characterized by syncopated percussion and powerful low end. Releases on labels such as Rekids, Token and Enemy as well as his current EP on Donato Dozzy's Spazio Nero show him as an artist who understands the techno dancefloor and has his own signature style. Marcal will be playing at Berghain that evening. House In The Dark is the title of DJ Holographic's debut album, which was recently released on her newly founded label Through the Veil. On this album, the Detroit-born and raised DJ and producer merges the Afrofuturistic basis of techno with a queer, feminist perspective. Astrology and themes such as self-discovery, healing and empowerment play a role here. DJ Holographic plays one of her sets, which ranges from house, disco, Detroit techno and electro, in the Panorama Bar.
