This all-star group has been active for almost a quarter of a century and found their signature sound by chance: the guys from Kneebody gave their first concert in a rock venue. It made sense to amplify the instruments, pimp the sound and get away from the image of jazz musicians. In 2025, saxophonist Ben Wendel, trumpeter Shane Endsley, keyboardist Adam Benjamin and Nate Wood, who - a curiosity - plays bass and drums at the same time, present the music from their first studio album since 2019. It's called Reach and reaches a new level in the band's oeuvre.

The Kneebody quartet still stands for a mix with a high recognition value. The way the four virtuosos blend jazz, rock, electronica, pop, R&B and even classical elements is unique. As typical as Kneebody's sound may be, it has evolved and become even more clever, consistent, sophisticated and elaborate. No wonder, as Wendel, Endsley, Benjamin and Wood have constantly broadened their horizons - through a multitude of projects in which they have been involved alongside their joint work with Kneebody.
