Pubs also tell stories and history. In Roman times, the Eigelstein was located directly
on the other side of the northern city wall. Like hardly any other district in Cologne, it stands for the coexistence of
coexistence of many cultures and a rich street life with international shops
stores, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Until 2018, even the Gaffel brewery
even resided directly on the Eigelstein and regularly immersed the Veedel in a cloud of barley malt,
yeast and hops. The guided pub crawl explores the Eigelstein district in five
stops.
