Things are going well for Knocked Loose: With their latest album "You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To", they recently played two sold-out US headline tours, recently accompanied Slipknot on tour and were probably the heaviest band ever to perform at Coachella. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, they were nominated for the single "Suffocate (feat. Poppy)" in the"Best Metal Performance" category. And rightly so: the quintet from Kentucky, who released their debut EP "Pop Culture" in 2014, have worked hard on their songwriting over the last 10 years and are considered by many to be something like the "saviors of metal and hardcore" (morecore.de). They are and remain at the forefront when it comes to uncompromisingly hard and aggressive hardcore/metalcore - even when they weave a reggaeton beat into a breakdown, as in the aforementioned track with Poppy. They are accompanied by Split Chain from Bristol, who have recently released their debut album "motionblur" after a few interesting singles that oscillate between shoegaze textures and hardcore, and the equally outstanding hardcore band Pain Of Truth from Long Island.
