Art from cycles - the aesthetics of reuse

The Kollage Kollectiv is a group of self-taught multimedia artists who transform recycled materials into interactive installations. Their focus is on the combination of recycling, electronic music, visual art, creative coding and performance.

The fundamental truth of our time is the finite nature of resources. But thinking in cycles instead of linear processes opens up new possibilities. By reusing and repurposing materials, the collective artistically demonstrates how inspiration can arise from waste and advocates the democratization of art production.

By combining different media with innovative design, technology and engineering, recycled modules are created that serve as platforms for digital artworks. 3D visuals, generated through creative coding, are synchronized with light and sound. The hacking of machines and sensors creates a multi-sensory, dynamic experience that actively involves the audience.

Kollage Kollectiv will enrich the exhibition on the second weekend and present a performance by the duo AcidAktiv on the closing evening.
