An imaginary view of the collapse of our world

What would you do if the world ended tomorrow?
What unfulfilled dream do you want to realize just before the end?
What deed do you want to accomplish before it is too late?
What message do you still need to spread?

Löhle uses a very simple question as the starting point for a complex, intelligent and entertaining survey of our society. The characters - in their laconic normality rather unsuitable for catastrophe scenarios - suddenly have to deal with the abysses that open up beneath a thin layer of civilization and themselves.
And the greatest monstrosity is actually the fact that we may be without a wish, but we are still not happy.
