In the 1970s, the young Vera Brandes wants to find her place in the music world. As a concert promoter, she brings international stars to Germany, despite her parents' resistance and the gender-related hurdles in the male-dominated industry. Her passion for music motivates her to risk everything for her dream. Her greatest success: the concert by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett at the Cologne Opera on January 24, 1975, which almost fails but becomes legendary.
