Young Vera Brandes (Mala Emde) is determined to conquer her place in the music world of the 1970s. As a concert promoter, she brings international stars to Germany, despite her parents' opposition and the challenges she faces as a woman in a male-dominated industry. Her passion for music drives her to risk everything for her dream. The culmination of her efforts: The concert by the famous jazz pianist Keith Jarrett (John Magaro), which is scheduled to take place at the Cologne Opera on January 24, 1975.
