On towers and rooftops of the city
If you want to see Cologne from the perspective of a bird, climb with us onto towers and rooftops of the city that are otherwise inaccessible.
As always, we have found new locations. The roof terrace of the Frauenmediaturm, the conches of St. Aposteln, from where you have a really beautiful view of Neumarkt, and again the roof terrace of the Hansahochhaus. The 65-metre Hansahochhaus was the tallest skyscraper in Europe in 1925 - but only for a short time, as other major cities followed suit. The Koerfer Group actually built a small roof terrace on the roof, from which we can see in all directions without being obstructed. August Sander portrayed Cologne from above from here in the 1930s.

walled gate led to a bridge over which one could reach the battlements of the Roman
