In the organizer's words:
ardinal Lawrence is entrusted with the task of presiding over the election of the new pope. Cardinals from all over the world travel to Rome for the conclave. As the doors to the Sistine Chapel close, a game of power ensues. Lawrence finds himself at the center of intrigue and corruption and uncovers a secret that could shake the foundations of his faith.
