Konrad Beikircher - Das rheinische Universum

In the organizer's words:

Who are the aliens: the Imis or the locals? In the most mysterious of all universes, many things are different: the language, the carnival, the church, the politics, the economies, the food, the hospitals and so on.

Beikircher tells stories and knows what he is talking about. His new program is a short summary of 57 years of life in the Rhenish universe. The horrors of first contact, the discovery of similarities with Italy, the voyeur's happiness when immersing himself in the foreign world, the shell-by-shell penetration of the Rhenish onion, the exhilarating experience of being Rhenish.

The path to this feeling of being at home in the Rhineland is paved with stories, truths, half-truths and wonderful people, just like the Bläck Fööß sang about: "Mutzebuckel, Avjebrühte, Drecksack un Filou ...". The program is my "little Rhenish testament", so to speak - and all without a notary!
