KONSORTIUM | Nachstellung. Man sollte eine Gruppe gründen

In the organizer's words:

"We should form a group " - Konrad Lueg demanded in a call to his fellow students at the Düsseldorf Art Academy in 1963. In February 1964, four artists spontaneously showed their works in the front garden of Galerie Parnass in Wuppertal - in the snow, on trees and fences 🌨️🖼️🌳. This unusual event went down in art history as a front garden exhibition.

The artist group KONSORTIUM is reconstructing this legendary presentation in an installation at ZADIK - with historical photos and documents from the Galerie Parnass archive. They also shed light on the mechanisms of the art business💡.
