In June, the Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the Akademie der Künste once again invites you to KONTAKTE. The festival shows how versatile contemporary sound art reacts to current technological and social developments.
The Academy buildings on Hanseatenweg and Pariser Platz will be permeated by experimental sound structures and transformed into places of intensive listening.
Installative sound works, impressive performances and electro-acoustic concerts combine to create a multi-layered and interdisciplinary program with, among others, the Ensemble Ascolta, the GrauSchumacher Piano Duo, Thomas Schulz and Hanna Hartman as well as new works by Arezou Rezaei, Tony Elieh, Hainbach, Annette Krebs, Heather Frasch, Gerriet K. Sharma, Susanne Fröhlich - and probably the most extensive loudspeaker orchestra in the world to date.
