The mystique of Kontravoid 's mask has endured for over a decade. Since the release of his self-titled LP in 2012, Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based Cameron Findlay has been perfecting dark pop with his work that straddles EBM, electro and goth.

His productions, such as "Too Deep" from 2019 and "Faceless" from 2021, delve into the seedy corners of foggy, strobe-lit clubs: there's no choice but to dance. But there's an eerie gentleness and an obvious songwriting ability to compose heartbreaking songs that are both captivating and steeped in melancholy.

On stage, Kontravoid commands the audience's attention with his powerful performance that blends his special blend of hard beats with his signature rhythmic patterns. He has toured with Boy Harsher, ADULT, Drab Majesty and Hide and has also remixed for artists such as Schwefelgelb and Kris Baha. Truly a man of shadows, Kontravoid is an unrivaled fixture in the dark electronic arena.

Buzz Kull is the creative project of Sydney-based musician Marc Dwyer. Since 2012, Buzz Kull has carved out a niche as one of the darker, more subversive acts in the Australian electronic landscape, exploring the boundaries between darkwave, minimal synth, post punk and EBM.

Dwyer has released three albums under the name Buzz Kull: Chroma (2017), New Kind of Cross (2018) and Fascination (2022). He has collaborated with artists such as Liars, Ellen Alien and Death Bells.

Buzz Kull transcends the archetypal boundaries of darkwave. A nexus that combines pop sensibilities with haunting, foreboding emotional states that transcend the inessential. A shadow play of nauseating synth lines and downcast, pounding drum machines that evoke a desolate emptiness.
