The Stiffs

Die Steifen are an art-punk band, founded in the fall of 2023, by
three Rheinhessen (Berlin, Frankfurt, Mainz) with origins in experimental electronic
experimental electronic music and black metal. The trio
plays tradition-conscious and minimal with Chorlette by Les
Trucs on the German lyric microphone, Blaeck Fox drummer
Jones and ex-Plus bassist Benni play short pop songs about disco,
manslaughter and facades. Family Fodder and Grandma Hans are
inspiration, but music reviewers talk about Die Ärzte,
Udo Lindenberg and Ian McKaye. The stiffs can come to terms with both
can come to terms with both, because the light shoulder plays the
power chord best, *wink*.

Narcosis

Life in a small town on the edge of the Ruhr region in Germany, historically known for its heavy industry and coal mining, is characterized by frustration, boredom and a sense of alienation. A feeling of hopelessness coupled with a bleak and meaningless urban landscape. The debut single "Geisterstadt" by the band Narkose addresses precisely this state of affairs. Narkose has stood for aggressive, dark and critical German punk since 2023. The band combines influences from hardcore, post-punk and German punk and impresses with intense, exciting live shows as well as a fast and catchy sound that is refined by radical, sometimes exaggerated lyrics. The debut album "Überleben - Koexistenz" was released on 06.06.2024 by Bretford Records.
