Following the death of drummer and founder of the band Michael Krautstein in 2022, who became famous beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia, the band has reunited and is back on the scene stronger than ever with a new drummer. A unique blend of funk, soul and a rousing horn section takes the audience back to the golden era of the Stax sound. With their precise playing and great solos, the "StaxMasters" create an irresistible groove that gets the audience moving.

The band has dedicated its heart in particular to the music that was released on the Stax label at the time. In the 60s and 70s, the US label "Stax Records" was a trendsetter in the music world alongside Motown, marketing soul music in particular.

A StaxMasters concert will feature unforgettable classics from the 60s and 70s. Songs that are not played very often by cover bands, for example by "Isaac Hayes", "Curtis Mayfield", "The Meters", "The Temptations", "The Crusaders". And also a few related songs, for example from "Supermax" and the "Average White Band". In addition to the professional musicians on the instruments, a fantastic singer with the soul power in her voice comes into her own.
