A cosmic-romantic jazz evening
On this evening, three trained jazz musicians from different corners of Germany will go on a musical journey of discovery and explore what happens when the cosmos and jazz meet. A varied repertoire ranging from soulful jazz ballads to fast swinging pieces will be offered under the starry sky of the planetarium.
In Maik Kleer's (bass) homeland, the stars have often been unable to prevail against the lights of the big city. The longing for the celestial bodies remained and so he took astronomy in the 7th grade. Chris Schneider (electric guitar) could well imagine helping to colonize Mars, although he has not yet been asked to do so. When she was 14, Saskia Lehmann (vocals) asked for a small hobby telescope for Christmas, got it - and has never used it since.
Perhaps it is quite right that all three ended up with music and met in the dome of the Potsdam Planetarium to embark on a musical journey through the universe together.
