IVYMIND is a melting pot of country, folk and improvised music. An international, multi-generational combination of some of Europe's most versatile and dynamic musicians.

IVYMIND is "Bob Dylan" meets a warm instrumental combination of clarinet and guitar. The band was founded by the renowned British jazz clarinettist Samantha Wright, who was the only clarinet student of the legendary Rolf Kühn. She taught at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg from an early age and toured internationally as a soloist. A very special new addition to the band is the well-known actor and musician Rainer Piwek.

The Hamburg-based band has been working together for almost 3 years and this year celebrates the release of their highly anticipated EP: "Underground Country".
