Modern Torture: MODERN TORTURE is a kind of punk band from Stuttgart/Ludwigsburg, which makes it its business to playfully transform opposites into music. Jeany (bass/vocals), Djo (guitar/vocals) and Vane (drums/keyboard/backing vocals) spark loud, but also bittersweet creative sparks - between punk and poetry, anger and love, banality and social criticism. MODERN TORTURE, as the name suggests, sometimes hurts, is like an unpleasant wet handshake, but at the same time also a long-awaited familiar hug.
