Konzert von Onur Evîn

The Kurdish artist Onur Evîn combines traditional Kurdish music with modern sounds and presents them to the audience. He sings authentic, folkloric and classical Kurdish music. He has many of his own compositions and most of his songs are written by himself. He has released three albums with the titles "De Tu Were", "Em Nadin" and "Daye", as well as several singles. Each of his songs tells its own story - about freedom, love, loneliness and home. His Kurdish songs are often lively and encourage people to dance together. In addition to his artistic identity, he is also a committed human rights defender. Due to his political stance and attitude, he was confronted with repression and bans against himself and his music in his home country. As a result, he left his country in 2022 and settled in Munich, Germany, to continue his musical career.
