WHAM BAM BODYSLAM have been bringing energetic folk music to the stage since 2008.
music that cannot easily be pigeonholed. With double bass, violin, mandolin,
guitar and drums, they create a rough country-folk-punk-waltz mix.
Their down-to-earth songs offer moments to dance, drink, think and shout along.
roar along. In 2011, the four Upper Austrians, who had emigrated to Vienna at the time
released their debut album "Down Here". This was followed in 2012 by a split 7" with the legendary
Swingin' Utters from San Francisco. Shortly afterwards, with a new drummer, they grew to five
members. Since then, countless gigs in DIY style have taken them to
Austria through Slovenia, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Sweden.

7" and successfully toured Europe. Their latest LP "Dancing Wrestling
Burning Wood" was released in 2019, was produced by Manfred Herzog (Astpai, Petrol Girls)
and released on SBÄM-Records. It shows the clear further development
of the band and captures the raw energy of their live shows for the first time.
Wham Bam Bodyslam have shared the stage with many international bands in recent years, including
bands such as The Slackers, Swingin' Utters, The Devil Makes Three, Larry & His Flask, Less
Than Jake, UK Subs, The Bones, Street Dogs, Authority Zero, The Dreadnoughts, Hayseed
Dixie, Possessed by Paul James, Arliss Nancy, The Mahones and The Dead Brothers.

Blacktar is a young crunge band from Nuremberg that formed in 2023. They serve up the finest ambient crunge to kick things off.
