Lavine collaborates with Gorillaz bassist on debut single Wanna Know You and announces international concerts

The Danish-Berlin duo Lavine will release their debut single Wanna Know You on May 9th. The first herald of their upcoming EP features an exclusive collaboration with Seye Adelekan from Gorillaz.

A search for closeness in a strange world characterizes Wanna Know You, where cinematic synthesizer pads and organic beats create a captivating contrast to the spherical and beguiling voice of Emma Geyti. The song explores identity and the longing for connection in a time when it seems more difficult than ever.

A strong team behind the debut

Lavine has quickly made a name for itself in the alternative music scene - from open mics in Berlin's underground to international bookings. For their upcoming EP, they have worked with renowned musicians, and the collaboration with Seye Adelekan gives Wanna Know You a very special energy.

"Working with Seye was an incredible experience - he has an intuitive approach to music and brought unexpected creative impulses and energy that perfectly matched our vision," says guitarist and producer Rasmus Volden.

Along with the single, Lavine is releasing a music video that emphasizes the raw emotionality and cinematic aesthetic of the song.

With concerts in Germany and Norway this spring, Wanna Know You marks just the beginning of Lavine's musical journey.
