What does loneliness sound like at midday? And what does the same loneliness feel like at twenty past one at night? The Bremen trio zwanzig nach eins asks such questions - and answers them with music and language.
In a mixture of jazz, classical music, poetry and improvisation, the three musicians interweave their own and other people's texts with vibrant soundscapes, spoken word, cello and vibraphone. The pieces flow into one another, thoughts shift, moods change.
It's about closeness and strangeness, vulnerability, the struggle for words - but also about connection. A concert that does not focus on individual songs, but on the moment in between.
