Konzertabend mit Heike Duncker

In the organizer's words:

We cordially invite you to a concert evening with percussionist and composer Heike Duncker at Baustelle Schaustelle Essen.

The solo program of the percussionist and composer has been in existence for several years, but was supplemented and further developed during the Corona closures - due to a lack of other musical tasks - with the support of a scholarship from MKW NRW.
In addition to a piece by the famous drummer Max Roach entitled "The Drum Also Waltzes", only original compositions and improvisations will be performed, which incorporate elements of funk, Latin and jazz; a ballad is also included. Heike Duncker invites the audience on an escapade - a short and varied journey through the cosmos of rhythm.
