Konzerte der Jungen Philharmonie Würzburg

During the Easter vacations, numerous young musicians from Würzburg and the region will once again put on a professional concert program under the proven direction of Frédéric Tschumi. After a week of intensive rehearsals, works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Stanisław Moniuszko and Bedřich Smetana will be performed in the two final concerts of the "Junge Philharmonie".
Two of the composers performed suffered the difficult fate of becoming deaf - which did not cause either of them to give up composing. The Junge Philharmonie invites concertgoers to listen very carefully: How do we perceive music? What does it do to us, in us, with all our senses?
In Beethoven's Triple Concerto, op. 56, our three soloists Ivan Turkalj, Leonardo Vasile and Florian Gelmser engage in a virtuoso competition. Moniusko's Bajka: Ouverture takes you into the world of fairy tales, before Smetana's The Moldau invites you on an exciting river journey.

Free admission to both concerts, ticket reservations are not necessary. The Friends of the Junge Philharmonie Würzburg would be delighted to receive donations after the concerts.
