The year is 1771 and Elisabeth Auguste invites guests to an evening dinner at Benrath Palace. The entire Benrath Palace staff is excitedly busy with the preparations. That's why everything is different on this tour. The chambermaid guides you through the palace, tells you about the preparations that have to be made for the arrival of the evening party and tells you all about it. This entertaining tour is not about facts and figures, but about gossip from the court. Here you can find out what you need to know about etiquette and court curtsies, superstitions and secret love affairs. However, life in the Baroque era was one big spectacle - so don't believe everything the lady tells you.
