Repetitive - motoric - stoic - reduced: The character of KRATZEN arises from limitation: the band only plays the bare essentials. On January 17, 2025, the album "III" by the Cologne band KRATZEN will be released - again as hand-stamped limited edition vinyl. Like the previous album "zwei" (released in 2022), "III" was produced by Olaf Opal (Notwist, International Music, among others).

Urlaub in Polen has always been a band that defies categorization. The band disbanded in 2011. In 2020, they reunited and presented "All" (Tapete), probably their most formally coherent album to date, which is nevertheless anything but a genre work: what the songs have in common is an architectonics reminiscent of Krautrock, which places the expansive synthesizer and guitar figures on the foundation of a finely woven rhythm arrangement.
