Kreatives Upcycling zu Ostern – Das Müllmonster im Luftschloss

It has long been known that there is far too much waste in the world. But how can we produce less waste? The exhibition Can it go? Von Abfällen und Einfällen encourages us to rethink our own use of resources, to appreciate their value and presents ways to produce less waste. It also looks at creative solutions for avoiding waste and at historical strategies from which valuable insights can be drawn. It is striking that many techniques are not contemporary inventions. Whether long used, repaired, repurposed and recycled - all of this has been done in times long past. The exhibits all have their own individual object histories, which are representative of a wide variety of reasons and practices for avoiding waste.

As part of this exhibition, an upcycling workshop with the climate monster will take place on April 6, 2025 from 14:00-17:00 in the Luftschloss. We will be designing, painting and crafting with recycled materials. Create your own sustainable Easter decoration!
