The body of doctor's assistant Christel Hulatsch is discovered in a fire during the solstice in the Wachau region. Crime writer Horvath wants to get to the bottom of the matter - but it's not that easy, because hardly anyone preferred Hulatsch alive to dead. Together with his girlfriend Mimi, he represents the dead woman undercover in Dr. Freilich's practice, catapulting himself from one catastrophe to the next. In the process, he gets ever closer to the murderer. Perhaps a little too close...

"Sonnwendmord" is an endearing crime comedy with suspense and humor. The cult continues!

Andrea Walter was born in Melk in 1980 and has remained true to her home region, the Wachau, ever since. Inspired by the landscape and the people, she self-published "In vino veritas - Deine Wahrheit ist der Tod", a psychological thriller that made it onto the bestseller lists. Due to its great success, this title will be revised and published in a new version by Emons Verlag in fall 2024. The author publishes her black humor crime series as Fanny Svoboda, also with Emons Verlag. "Marillenknödelmord" is the first title in this series and was published in February 2024. Volume two will follow in spring 2025.

With a little imagination and determination, many interpersonal problems can be solved sustainably, says crime writer and musical cabaret artist Jutta Wilbertz. And with her book and ukulele, she makes for a wonderfully quirky and stunningly deadly evening!

Jutta Wilbertz studied Applied Theater Studies in Giessen and also trained in acting and singing in Rome and Cologne. As a crime writer, she won the 1st East Frisian Crime Thriller Prize in 2017, and as a lyricist she was a scholarship holder of the renowned Celle School (Masterclass GEMA Foundation). She performs her witty, black-humored musical crime thriller readings on stage all over Germany. She is a member of the authors' association Die Mörderischen Schwestern, the Association of German Writers and the Syndikat.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, the Night of the Libraries will take place for the first time nationwide.

Under the motto "Knowledge.Share.Discover", small and large, public and academic, municipal or church-run libraries will open their doors and invite people to discover the wide range of services on offer in libraries.

With the Night of Libraries, the German Library Association and its 16 regional associations want to draw attention to the wide range of services offered by libraries throughout Germany and invite people to experience their libraries in a new way.
