The wedding of Cora, daughter of the late Lord Ashtonburry, is attended by relatives and friends at the family's ancestral home.

Shortly after the death of her father Lord Ashtonburry, Cora Tilling celebrates her long-awaited wedding. Some family members are not at all happy about this. They do everything they can to put all kinds of obstacles in the way of the young couple's happiness. And so nasty suspicions cloud the celebration.
