Kubisches Flechten

Baskets often have a rounded shape due to the flexibility of the weaving material. This workshop offers an introduction to a completely different type of weaving: triaxial weaving creates very cubic objects.

During the one-day workshop you will learn how to prepare the material and get an introduction to the technique of cubic weaving. Everyone will weave their own cubic shape and at the end of the day there will be a small exhibition of the resulting woven works.

All the materials you need for the workshop will be provided. Workshop language is German and English. Participants must be 16 years or older.

Participation fee 30 euros incl. museum admission.
