In the organizer's words:

On the occasion of the upcoming budget negotiations, we are launching a new series of dialogs and invite you to a lively exchange between culture and politics. In the SPD and Volt parliamentary group office, we are creating space for relevant artistic positions that deal with the city, its collection and the social role of art. Two works on loan from the collection of the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart form the basis for this cultural-political dialog. We make transparent why the city has its own collection - and why it bears responsibility for art and culture.

As the first guest in the series, we welcome the visual artist Lisa Mühleisen with current works from the Blues Period series.

We cordially invite you to the opening event

on Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30 pm

at Stuttgart City Hall - Room 1.

The speakers will be cultural policy spokesperson Sara Dahme and Lisa Mühleisen.
