The true story of the Nimmersatt caterpillars: Once upon a time there were two little caterpillars. Their names were Joy and Max. They both loved art and the many great flavors it contained. They enjoyed trying out different variations, created their favorite dishes

favorite dishes, sometimes overeating them, craving new and exotic things. To avoid having to complain about stomach ache later on, you weren't just busy snacking, you also planted and weeded, you processed and cooked, you shared the pleasure with others. Balanced and varied, sometimes a little too much, sometimes light fare and rest. Sometimes as a caterpillar and sometimes as a butterfly.

Max Herre, a thoroughbred musician in ever new spheres of activity, turns out to be an art activist and co-founder of the Kolchose collective, one of the most important representatives of German rap music, a popular member of the band Freundeskreis, part of a likeable group of artists called FK-Allstars, a passionate solo artist and singer-songwriter. Nope, not finished yet. He also excels as a composer, pianist and producer, as a director or publisher, juror and coach and is always keen to collaborate with other artists. What a board - or rather: what a richly laid table! Admittedly: The artist's round of introductions seems redundant by now; after all (and fortunately) we have already had the pleasure of welcoming him to the theater forecourt and tasting his art on one or two occasions. Including hers:

Joy Denalane is considered the queen of German soul. With an overwhelming voice and a great message, she has been bringing a fresh and strong wind into the German music landscape since the late 1990s and has had a significant influence on the scene. Denalane celebrated her breakthrough as part of Freundeskreis with the hit "Mit Dir", before establishing herself as a solo artist with her debut album "Mamani". With albums such as "Gleisdreieck" and the international masterpiece "Let Yourself Be Loved", the singer proves that her music is not only at home in this country, but worldwide. The singer was showered with awards and was the first German artist to be signed to the legendary record label Motown Records. You have to digest that first.

But this is about both Max and Joy. About their musical and personal connection. About euphoria and hurt, inspiration, happiness, longing and crises. The result is their latest record "Alles Liebe" - and it has everything: soul, gentle and euphoric melodies and the fusion of hip-hop and R&B. A lush work by the two Nimmersatts. Whether caterpillar or butterfly doesn't really matter anymore, does it? Joy and Max are always both, living through the musical and private metamorphosis as a recurring cycle. All my love.
