KulturCafé – NINE STEPS

In the organizer's words:

After their successful debut last year, the NINE STEPS are back on stage at the KulturCafe. In their current program, the 9-piece jazz formation plays their own compositions from the fields of swing, blues, funk and soul. The audience can expect a 90-minute journey through jazz history from the 1920s to current titles. Intoned by a powerful brass section, carried by a classical rhythm section, the unmistakable sound of wood and brass is heard. At times restrained pianissimo, at other times a measured crescendo and occasionally louder up to fortissimo, the musicians impress not only with their playing, but also with their skillful improvisations.
