In the organizer's words:

The KulturKiste is the new inter-artistic cultural stage in Franconia.

Packed with a smorgasbord of the three art genres word,

music and exhibitions, the KulturKiste opens several times a year for

selected theme evenings in the areas of democracy, sustainability and tolerance. Various artists from the region come together to present their art and talk to each other about unifying themes in their work. The aim is to show the parallelism in the creative process to an interested audience.

#o1: about working together - about sharing

A society that keeps its elbows close to its body so that people can stay close to each other. A society that opens its hands so that we can work together. A utopia? Certainly - and yet there are artists who are taking a stand against increasing selfishness and working together.

Philip Krömer (WORT)

The Erlangen-based author regularly attempts and masters the fusion of the unfusionable. Be it in literary fiction, in readings with illustrators and magicians or in founding the most charming literature festival in the metropolitan region - the book:ed in Erlangen.

The Black Elephant Band (MUSIC)

The musician and author is a founding member of the collective "Folk's Worst Nightmare", hosts the Sing-In evenings in Fürth and Nuremberg, which are known beyond the city limits, and thus already embodies the fusion of words and music in personal union.

Maren Sosada (EXHIBITION)

The Würzburg-based illustrator has been walking intercultural paths for a long time: she animates music videos by regional artists, creates posters for various cultural events and has contributed to the graphic concept of the new Kulturgewächshaus in Fürth.
