KulturMut Convention 2024 - Kultur.Kampf.Mut.: Wehrhafte Kultur für die Demokratie von morgen - Abschlusstagung

Do you believe that culture is political? Do you want to set an example against the shift to the right and contribute to a defensive culture(work)? Are you wondering how to do this?

Come to the final conference of the KulturMut Convention 2024 on October 11 at the Seekabelhaus in Cologne and discuss the results of the project with us and stand up for defensive culture (work). ✊

After the Kulturmut summer events, we are now tying up Kulturmut 2024 together: What have we learned (from each other)? Where is there still a need for action? What role can (independent) cultural work play here and how can we form sustainable networks? We also want to focus on a supra-regional perspective and have invited speakers from East German cultural(work) as well as committed volunteer initiatives and projects.

15:15 - 16:45 Panel talk on the topic of "Cultural courageous projects in rural and (small) urban areas" (also in livestream) with Nadine Klingebiel (City of Jülich, Department of Culture), Doritta Kolb-Unglaub (colorido e.V.) and Claudia Warda (Kulturinitiative Hillesheim e.V.)

We strive to make the KulturMut Convention 2024 as barrier-free and accessible as possible. Our rooms are barrier-free and an awareness person will be on site. There will also be sign language interpretation for our program from 10:00 - 18:00. We will also try to cover other needs. Please just send us an e-mail to kulturmut@daskulturgetriebe.de. This way you can let us know if you need childcare, for example, and whether you would like to make use of sign language interpretation.
