A deep voice that sounds familiar and moves. Somewhere between indie and powerful pop, SEDA sings approachably, cleverly and calmly about the issues of her generation. Growing up, the balance between mental health and the pressure of perfectionism, and their own queer identity. SEDA themselves describe their music as "indie pop with a vintage feel, lots of guitar sounds, 80s synths and melancholy".
Anyone who has seen SEDA perform, for example at Superbloom, PULS and Reeperbahn Festival, or as support for Jess Glynne, will know: SEDA knows how to captivate people. Even though their career is still quite young, the press is already predicting great success. This is not least due to her characteristically strong voice, her unmistakable sound and SEDA's authentically charismatic manner. Fittingly, the Turkish name "Seda" means "voice".
