Kunst im Schaufenster – Rundgang 1

In the organizer's words:

Half of Altona is an art gallery! In various shop windows in Ottensen and Altona-Altstadt, artists are exhibiting current works and competing for the altonale Art Prize 2025, which this year has the motto "Resonance". The special appeal of this competition lies in the mix of established and new artists, as well as the involvement of local retailers.

Chrisdian Wittenburg (FRISE Künstlerinnenhaus) will guide us through the streets to selected shop windows of the competition. The tour provides information about the artworks and artists. Together we will reflect on the ideas behind the art in the shop windows. All tours are barrier-free. Both nominated and non-nominated shop windows will be visited.

In order to give as many people as possible access to art and culture, we have set up a pay-what-you-want ticket: Everyone pays as much as they can and want to. If you pay more than our recommended contribution, you will help us to maintain this solidarity-based payment concept in the future and make our cultural events accessible to everyone in the usual high quality.
