Kunst in Vielfalt - Aktzeichenkurs der Kunstklinik

In the organizer's words:

The art clinic's nude drawing course has been running for over 30 years and started at the former location of the art clinic in the Kulturhaus Eppendorf in the backyard. Some of today's participants have been there since the beginning. When the art clinic opened at its current location in 2019, artist Susanne Kleiber took over the management of the course.

Every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and every fourth Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., 15 of the 40 active participants meet to artistically translate their impressions of the models in a concentrated atmosphere.

As diverse as the participants are - from professional artists to occasional sketchers - so are the materials used, such as pencil, charcoal, pastels and watercolor, as well as the surfaces: Sketchbooks, pads, iPads and much more are used. This results in a wide variety of image formats, including DIN A3, A4, A5 and large free formats.

This diversity is reflected in the exhibition and is intended to bring the great joy and productivity of the artists closer to the public at the art clinic.

Viewing times for paintings in the corridor and foyer: usually Mon - Fri, 11:00 - 18:00. Paintings in the Blue Salon and Green Room can be viewed when they are free. You are welcome to make an appointment.
