Original wall paintings by Michael Fischer-Art were shown in this unique exhibition. Visitors not only have the opportunity to view these impressive works of art up close, but also to purchase them.

A living monument

With his fresco, Fischer-Art has not only created a work of art, but also set an important example. "I was there," says the artist, referring to his personal experience during the peaceful demonstrations in the late 1980s. These memories and experiences have been incorporated into the design of the mural, making it part of Leipzig's identity. The fresco, which was financed by a private investor, stands as a living monument to the upheaval and change that the city has experienced.

Commitment to children

An important aspect of our exhibition right from the start was our commitment to the future of children. At the finissage, we will look back at what has been achieved through this art initiative to support children. Part of the proceeds from the exhibition will be used to support projects that give children better prospects for the future.
