Kunstführung: Sammlung Deutsche Bank in Berlin. Kunst in und um die Filialen

In the organizer's words:

Starting from the artworks in the outdoor area of the exhibition It's Just a Matter of Time. Deutsche Bank Collection in Dialogue, which point to the coexistence of different timelines, we embark on a journey through time in the immediate vicinity of the PalaisPopulaire.

Together we will walk to Bebelplatz, which served as a place for social (protest) gatherings in the GDR. After reunification, Micha Ullmann's memorial was erected there to commemorate the book burning. Just a few meters away is the capital branch of Deutsche Bank, an impressive example of architecture from the Wilhelminian era. In a guided tour with art historian Dr. Elisabeth Klotz, not only will works of art from the Deutsche Bank Collection, including Neo Rauch, Imi Knoebel and K.H. Hödicke, Salome, be shown here, but the collection itself will also be examined from a historical perspective.

Please bring your identity card.
