In the organizer's words:
Jakob Lena Knebl (*1970, Baden) and Ashley Hans Scheirl (*1956, Salzburg) are among the most dazzling personalities in international contemporary art. Their works have been shown at major art exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale and Documenta and were most recently on display at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris. With the exhibition PASSAGE, the Deichtorhallen Hamburg is now dedicating its first major presentation in Germany to the duo and is presenting the Falckenberg Collection in a completely new light .
On the occasion of the publication of the magazine accompanying the exhibition PASSAGE in the Falckenberg Collection, Jakob Lena Knebl and Ashley Hans Scheirl will guide you through the exhibition.
Followed by an artist talk with art historian Silvia Eiblmayr. The artists will sign the magazine afterwards.
