Künstlerinnengespräch Künstlerin Judith Samen im Gespräch mit Vera Knippschild

On Thursday, June 26 , the artist Judith Samen will be a guest at the Kunstpalast. In an artist talk starting at 6.30 pm , she will speak with Vera Knippschild, research associate for the theory and history of photography at the Folkwang University, about her art and its connection to motherhood.

Judith Samen's art moves between the staging and authenticity of human existence. She incorporates physicality, food, as well as elements from art history and everyday life into her work. In our exhibition MAMA. From Maria to Merkel, she is represented with several photographs that deal with the subject of motherhood.
