In the organizer's words:

We are familiar with the great men from Leipzig and their achievements. But what about the city's women? They were musicians, politicians, writers, sportswomen and much more. They helped shape Leipzig. On the tour through the exhibition "Modern Times", we would like to tell forgotten stories and give important women of Leipzig a face.
