Kunstschiff Salon Walter — Etappe Hannover

In the organizer's words:

With a heated deck, a glass pavilion full of new art series and a two-week program, Kunstschiff Salon Walter continues its journey along the enchanting Mittelland Canal. From August 15 to 31, 2025, we will be setting sail for our midsummer stopover in Hanover's Nordhafen: we would like to invite you to join us.

The transport ship from 1906, which travels around as a growing installation, mobile studio and floating art space, will dock along the waterways for a program of exhibitions and workshops. Our aim is to convey art as a way of aesthetically engaging with the world and to open up the water's edge as a temporary off-space and a place for art and encounters.
