LA BOHÈME - Oper in 90 Minuten

Generation Z is wild, cheerful and hungry for life. They move between sensual intoxication and heartbreak, not unlike the group of young people - known as La Bohème - to whose lives and loves Giacomo Puccini dedicated his world-famous music almost 130 years ago. The opera hit is now coming to the Opernloft in a fresh interpretation.

A new club opens. There's swing music - that's the cool trend right now. Rodolfo and Marcella want to be the first. Meeting friends, dancing the night away, having fun - that's their motto. Perfectly styled, they wait outside the entrance to the club "Momus". That's where they meet Mimi. And: a star has announced her arrival - influencer Musetta.

The Opernloft shows four young people going about their days more or less carefree. They don't write novels or paint pictures - like Puccini's 19th century characters. Their art is themselves. And they like to show it. But what happens to these "carefree" people when bitter life bursts into their world?

In this production, the audience sits very close to the action. And if you like, you can shake a leg in the "Momus" club during the interval.
