La Diva Caprichosa „Divagando“ KONZERT

LA DIVA CAPRICHOSA "Divagando" - digression - is the name of the current program of the German-Spanish-Greek band "La Diva Caprichosa", which presents rousing songs about love and longing, lust for life and pain.

With a varied program, the quartet of vocals(Petra Fleckenstein), guitar(Carlos Barrio and Georgios Bechlivanidis) and double bass (Johannes Pätzold) would like to take you with them this time to something that threatens to fall by the wayside in our performance-oriented and goal-focused times: digression, like dreaming and aimlessly wasting time, is a way of exploring emotional landscapes and reaching the source of joy and creativity.

With a self-written "Son", which introduces the motifs of the following pieces, a bossa created in the Corona lockdown about the longing for real touch, a love story in the vastness of the Andalusian beaches in the style of Fado and a rousing homage to the Seville sun, the dreamy musical "digression" leads its listeners into colorful tonal and rhythmic spheres.

Numerous styles are heard, from South American folklore (son, vals criollo, bolero, tango, bossa, mambo) to Spanish hits (flamenco, rumba, copla, ladino).
