La Nuit de Décadence - Speakeasy - Some like it hot

In the organizer's words:

Prohibition is over but life in the popular "Décadence Speak Easy Bar" continues to rage.

The place is buzzing, the music and shows are exquisite and there are always new ideas to turn night into day.
Night after night, the now private club behind the library hosts illustrious guests.
Here the dandy dances and drinks with the light girl, the gangster with the inspector and many a sailor on shore leave with the dainty lady in velvet and silk.
Yes, people like it hot and wild and that's exactly what the most incredible night of the year brings back to Freiburg's Jazhaus. You can expect a brilliant tropical experience in the style of the 20s/ 30s with lots of unexpected surprises and an explosion for all your senses.

Come and dive with us into the hot wind of the southern climes from the Copacabana to Hawaii. Because how do we like it?

"We - like - it - hot!"

You can expect a complete experience with an incredible, partly interactive show, a humorous story, dancing, singing, drag and burlesque. Wonderful music invites you to dance various dances and there is also a short introductory course. There are also delicious snacks, vendor's tray girls, roulette and detailed decorations.

All in all, an atmosphere that you have never experienced before.
As always, admission is only possible in the dress code of the 20s and 30s and those who make a special effort can even win our popular style award. Admission only in a stylish 20s outfit.

However, you will need a password, which you will receive from the man with the red bow tie on the evening before the Jazzhaus.
